    Mark Webber grabbed his first pole position of the year and will start the Japanese Grand Prix on the front row alongside his team-mate Vettel. Hamilton was third while Alonso in eighth and Raikonen in ninth have their work cut out.

    Grosjean and the Lotus are having a very good performance (and end of the season). Quite a change from his early-year antics.
    Lack of charisma can be fatal.
