It was like "Hey, what's that? The Speed Six? What is he doing here, on the open parking? Hey, there are some more! The 356, Beetle, LaSalle (I considered it was Nash for the first), some more Bentleys, Lagondas and.. wow! Itala?! All in one place at the same time..OMG!" I realized it was a Peking-to-Paris rally only when looked at those cars' yellow numberplates... Wow! Such cars (the oldest one was 1903 Mercedes 60hp!) driving this hard way through the desert from China to France. Sounds great! I wondered why didn't I know about the rally and why the magazines still don't write anything about it up to now.
Unfortunately, I had no camera by me, so I just took some awful photos on my cell phone (I think they're no interest for you - 0,3 mpix). But next morning I've come there again just to have the pics. Yes, I know that I'm a bad photographer, but since the moment I'm trying to increase my skills somehow.
