ROAD RAGE…….

These photos are from Thursday, Feb. 17 by someone from Centurion in Pilanesberg game reserve, South Africa .
The guy in the silver Volkswagen (second photo) was trying to get past the elephant.




Road rage, it affects us all...

I'm not sure whether to laugh or be abhorred.

This teaches us all a very valuable lesson; never mess with... erm... elephants. Cos they'll flip your car.

How does a rational person even consider driving around an elephant walking down a road? Look for an opening and floor it.

Bet other cars got by quickly... looks like the VW guy was singled out. Shouldn't have honked.

hell no, you dont do ANYTHING near an elephant "quickly"

You get an elephant in a scare so it thinks it needs to defend itself/family and it can run 20+mph.

Looking at it the guy tried to go by the elephant whereas SA mate said you stop and let the elephant pass

The elephant is like the Hippo I think in that the western world we're used to seeing passive, calm animals in captivity. I'm guessing that was a tourist

not been too close to many large animals in the wild yet FD

you don't get out of a relatively safe metal cage once you've annoyed them !!!
