    Concorso D'Italia 2004

These are my pictures from the Concorso D'Italia in August of this year (2004). I'm going to at least put the manufacturer's name in each of the posts. Maybe the model name if I can remember it. If anyone can correct or add any information on any of the cars, please feel free to do so! If you're a mod, just add the information into the corresponding post (Wouter, AAA and Matra in particular). Otherwise, please PM me the information with the post #.

    alfa identification

The Alfa Formula car is definitely not an F1. If there is an Alfa engine in there, it is probably coming from a national formula alfa type of series.
The grey Alfa is 2000 GTV Bertone Coupe, while the red one is the classic alu bodied Twin Spark 1600 GTA Sprint, although there have been many replica's, made of the steel bodied sister of the car. The badge though says GTA, but positive identification can probably be only done through the chassis number.

The GTA is authentic. It's actually an interesting story behind that particular one, too. The owner saw that EXACT car race when he was a teenager. He later found it, had it restored and through research and archived pictures was able to have all the livery hand-painted to match its glory years.
