What do you think is a good rival for the Quattroporte E55, RS6, M5?

Price: AUD $379,995

I think its too expensive.

XJR? 760i? Phaeton W8? cars along those lines look to me to be the obvious competition

It's sportier than most of those cars, the XJR is a good competitor though. That interior is absolutely gorgeous too .

the maybach 57 seems like a good competitor, considering both have about a million and one interior trim designs to choose from

A beautiful car ....price is a bit steep though. I'd be happy with a M-B S600 and a "decent" amount of pocket change.

what r u guys talking about ??? u gotta be kidding if ur comparing this car to the phaeton and those luxury cars !!
have u looked at the price and kind of stuff u get with this car ?
its immediate competition are the maybach and the phantom.
by the way, i just saw a phantom 2 days ago in NYC !! looks respectable in the streets !!

oh, they got my right in the middle of my lie !!

i live in halifax , i am currently on aq visit to washington D.C from which i spent a weekend in NYC,
and 2 weeks from now i will be in a different part of the world before anyone asks me what am I doing in there !!
so batmobile, ever been to halifax ?

from what i know, 380K in australian dollars is about 280K U.S dollars. so this is still too expensive for the 70K phaeton and even the 120K S600.
