My dad's 750 iL just to learn, still have that, 100,000 miles and still runs great. I never thought id learn to drive in a car with a V12.
Handles and accelerates great for its size

'82 Ford Courier Diesal (that's a ute). It was also what I drove for a couple of months until my first car was drivable. After driving that, I can park pretty much anything anywhere. My first car was also my first auto, an '82 Rover SD1 series 2, 3.5 litre fuel injected V8. It worked for about three weeks a month, ended up replacing half the engine bay. The engine was actually fine, it was the ancillaries that kept dying. I still regret selling it sometimes. If it was a manual I'da probably stuck with it. After all, there's only so many things you can replace until they're all new.

Used to have this friend that at age 14 his parents would give him any car of the family to drive around with...
One day I ran into his car when he wasn't looking and drove a bit inside the neighborgood.. I was 13 by then and almost gave him a heart attack. 1994 Chevrolet Blazer |

When i was about 5 both me and my twin brother started driving around this early 90's HiLux 4x4 2.8 diesel just on 25 acres my grandfather owned. Started off just sitting on my dads lap and when my legs were long enough i drove myself. Almost t-boned a tree one day finding the brake and my brother almost rolled it on a hill

When I was about 10, I was allowed to drive the family's '95 Mitsubishi Nimbus which is a manual. After many stalls and jerky moments, I finally got it right. I'm in my second year of driving on my Ls now and I'm still driving that same car (mainly... I also drive my dad's E320 and mum's old 380SE).

When I was 15 my uncle let me drive his Massey Ferguson 35 tractor, which did about 25 kph. A year later I was trusted to drive a plain Renault 4, in confined spaces, and also a Mercedes transporter (with column shifter). Then I got my license in a Fiat 124, and started learning to drive in my fathers Fiat 850 Coupe. I got some "real" experience in my uncle's BMW 1602, and I still vividly remember how long third gear was and what power there was (we are talking 1967). My father continued having various Fiats (128, 131, Supermirafiori 2000 TC, Regata, ) which I occasionally drove, but my first owned car was a new 1979 Renault 4GTL, which after two years was traded for a Citroen Visa Super E, and stuck to Citroen ever since.

the main cars i usually drive now are the 2002 Yukon, 2004 Mitsubishi Endevor, and the 2004 Titan which is the biggest of them all and quite hard to park but you see what i mean, i only get to drive big suv's and trucks now
