Mecury Marauder vs. Ford Crown Vic Police Edition

I hope this is an interesting enough question for all you crazy kids out there, but which sedan would you rather have? A Blues Borthers-style ex-cop car, or a 300hp Grandpa mobile finished in black with nice rims?

I'd take the Marauder personally. I would post specs, but I can't find cop car specs.

If you can't find the specs for the cop car then why don't you just make the poll about the regular crown vic. It only lacks a bit in power.....

I have to say the Mercury I'm not a huge fan of the crown vic.

Police Interceptor, just for the freak-out-other-traffic factor.

Actually the Marauder has about 300hp. I'd take it because it has the nice dual chrome tail pipes and it looks real nice in black.

BTW, a better comparo would be Murader Vs. Crown Victoris Sport LX, considering that is is really the twin of the murader.

I think the Police Interceptor was chosen because of improved handling. I'd probably go for the Mercury, with the VT comp stroker-blower package.

Has the Cobra engine, sans the blower. Good for 320hp.

my opinon

see what you need to do is go out by you a crown vic inter..cop car black if possible for like 1500 - 2000 range thin go on ebay or craigs list and get parts for the marauder like the headlights gaugies {rims(if you want them)and a exaust system form the marauder thin just install. now you have a $2000 marauder and it would dust anything. see if yall are like me you like the drive train of the cop car but not so much on the body. so theres a fix see once you install everthing. knowbody will ? u on th car and if you relly want to transform the crown in to rauder then pop in a mecury grill and bumpers from the marauder and a jet black paint now its a twin.
now ppl ask me why do all that work? jusy by a marauder no. this is why cop cars are built to chase anything down and stay with it as long as possable so thay have the best suspsion out there thay can take curvs at 80 that the marauder rearend hops at 50 and the cop cars have no limiters no motor blocks or trans blocks
thay just go and the about the rims i would stick to the cop wheels and tires becuz they are rated for high speed traxion and thay last a long time to, so yea now you have a fast clean looking cheaper thin any other marauder (with a spot light lol)thats what would do laterz

im pretty torn on this one, good question too! i'd have to say the Marauder. most car fanatics would love to have a police interceptor ( because their so flippin awesome! ) but, i have seen the maruader in real life ( some old dude with his wife of all people ), because it just look so darn awesome...
