You would have loved the web site a couple of guys created and tried to convince everyone it was the best - cept at the time it was empty.
EVERYBODY just posted pics of tumbleweed it was a scream
If you ever DO find an animation ( or make it ) I'd want a copy

im confused, the reason why those cars understeer is not cuz they have 50/50 torque distribuition its cuz of weight distribution

the quattro awd system uses torsen diffs which shift torque B4 slip actually occurs, unless the system was STUCK at 50/50 the awd drivetrain should not affect under/over steering characteristics

Wow, I read the magazine Automobile the other day. They were doing awards for the best car for design, technology ect. Audi won technology with their new Automatic tiptronic gearbox. It's a very good article, they call it the Manualmatic. Keep up the good work Audi.

The street I live on is Tumbleweed. Anyway I would rather have 40/60 AWD as I think that it would give better acceleration.

it really wouldnt give any better acceleration since the torsen diffs will shift torque before any slip actually occurs (except for off the line starts), and under acceleration and none of audi's cars have enough torque to spin the wheels once you're moving at speed

the front/back bias is really only important if it's a locked ratio, the amount of torque the diff can shift to either end is a much more important factor in traction and handling
