where to find it is more appropriate, but it helps having about ten metres of UCP documentation available

BMW opened it for us when it was shown at the Techno Classica a couple of years ago.

The article still says 2 built? Or are you on your way to fixing it?

I was wrong again, there are indeed two, one is in the USA and its owner has actually been active on this forum.

Going back on the specs and the engine, it seems like BMW decided to make a 4 wheeled motorcycle.

    Interesting machine.

BMW had been making 4 wheeled motorcycles for a long time alreay, with the Isetta, the 600 and the 700 sedan and coupe. The 700 generated just enough cash flow to create the 1500, the great-great grandfather of all current BMWs.

Interesting to see that this guy has the 700 RS, with the license plate that is shown on period racing pictures. The museum car has a different number. I spoke with the museum guys about the car several years ago and they knew about the other car, which was in the US at the time. Just wondering how it came to Holland.
