Carbon Fiber Tuscan

I found these pics while looking around a bit. Apparently it is a carbon fiber TVR Tuscan. I think it actually looks fairly nice. No other stats though.

It looks very good, and if it is all carbon then wow.

I think its based on the T440R Race car .. somebody converted one of them to a road car before, looked better than this IMO.

The T400/440/Typhon share no panels with the Tuscan, which this is.

It would appear that the boot lid, targa panel and bonnet are CF but I doubt the whole car would be.

What would be the point of it? The GRP body is both light enough and strong enough anyway - all you are doing by rebuliding it in CF is adding huge expense.

No, i meant that the effect they are trying to get is to make it look a bit like the T440R race car.

Ah, I see.

Typhon should be out later this year. Only about 18 months late.

Yeah, i was starting to think it was cancelled. Personally i cant see the market for the Typhoon but from what is saw at Goodwood last year, its excellent. Claimed top speed of 215mph .. not that top speed matters

There were a lot of people with orders, however as the months drift by and TVR release things like the Sagaris people have lost interest.

Some unfortunate bastard actually had his car delivered, then taken back to the factory for further development.

I guess they need to make sure it is a good as it can be if it is to be their flagship model.

In contrast, here is the worst TVR I've seen customized. What a waste of a Cerbera.
