If you did take one out on the street though, what would the cops do? You only get a citation for a illegal car, its not like they confiscate it. It would definately be worth it to drive one of the fastest cars in the world down the street, until someone crushed you in their SUV without noticing.

There was an hilarious picture I once saw on the internet of a guy who'd taken a Champ car or Indy car or something like that on the street and he's busy getting busted by a traffic cop. You can see the cop writing a ticket and the driver sitting there with his head in his hands!

God only knows where I saw it, could've been in an email someone sent round, can't find it now.

the honda-muegen(?) 1996 f1 car just sold for $45,000, and i'm sure thats fast enough for me
i wouldn't say i had $2.2mill spare.....more like if i sold everything my family owned and stole lots of things i 'd have $2.2m
