the lexus LS430 is under rated. its a very nice car. i dont know about handling & driving pleasure. whereas the S500 looks better & has more class. but i'll still go with lexus on this one

s500, i like mercedes, but ls430 is good too.

yeah but too bad the ls430 has better reliability (& more awards because of it) than the s500

wouldnt ls430 vs s430 be a much better comp? come on

if i had the money, i'd take the lex

the ls430 is way better in build quality and reliablity but the benz looks and performs better. thats why I chose the benz.

The Mercedes-Benz S500 intended to replace the S430 some time ago, altough you can still buy the S430 for some reason. Anyway Jaguar XJ8 4.2 Sovereign for me.

If had unlimited money I would probably grab the Merc. But if I were a regularr person looking for a car in that catagory I would take the Lexus. I'm pretty positive it's better on fuel and doesn't cost a fortune to maintain.

LS430, although if you wanted a Asian looking car you could go for either with Merc these days. The Merc has a stupid voice recignition system (Anyone who has seen Top Gear when J.C Reviews one will understand), The LS430 is simply flawless, incredibly reliable, and if I wanted, the ol' Lexus V8 can be tuned very well.

Id buy the lexus and with the spare cash buy a boat for some fun on the weekends,Prefer a bit of fun rather than a pretentious badge.
