In RACING terminology, which marque is your favourite?

My favourite is Porsche. Just look at their achievements:
24 hours of LeMans
24 hours of Datyona
24 hours of Nurburgring
12 hours of Sebring
CanAm
Targa Florio
Paris-Dakar
FIA-GT

hmmm, honda or posrsche-they both have extremely impressive racing histories.

You left out some of the victories af Porsche...
4-times winner of the Rally Montecarlo (and other WRC rallyes)
1970 International Makes Chamiponship (the forerunner of the WRC)
Various times winner of the Sportscars Championship (or whatever names this kind of championship has had over the years)
European Rallycross winner
And I suppose a lot more (including national championships af all kinds).

alot-ill have to find it all because i did a report on it-give me a sec

EDIT: ok-their first win was in the Isle of Man TT race (motorcycles) in 1959 and first place in 1961 and scince then have pretty much dominated the sport

im sure you know all about their F1 history-they also have numerous Indy and CART victories, especially scince GM's faultering in the series

Honda holds a large number of MotoGP and other, smaller, assorted motorcycle victories. as a matter of fact, the RC211V motorcycle has one every MotoGP it has been raced in

im not sure how many times (definetly more than twice) honda has one the dakar motorcycle segment...

other single victories include the World Solar Challenge and 24hrs of LeMans GT2 class and a number of other small not so worthy of mention victories

overall honda has over 500 motorcycle victories and has 7 consecutive Suzuka Endurance race victories (obviously they have a good amount in JGTC as well)


thats why honda should be up there
