And Pagani's top speed is OVER 214mph so that's maybe also over 218mph. Who knows?

Ferrari forever! Horse power isn't everything, the Enzo is more well balanced. Look, if a test driver can't handle the Bugatti on the track, we are hopless.

The Veyron as I think it has at least some style to its styling. The Enzo is hideous, has too many electronics and, worst of all, has a flappy-paddle gearbox.

i'll take the enzo. i dont see myself driving a 3000 plus pound car wit 1000+ bhp. not very well anyway. the enzo is a better drivers car which you can throw around corners and take bends like you were on rails, and at speed. i think the veyron would just be a straight line car when they actually start production.

For overall driving excitement I would say the Enzo. The Veyron picutres posted were from the Pebble Beach Concours, there was another one at Quale Lodge that weekend, a purple/burgundy paint scheme. The president of Bugatti North American got in and drove it away, it was almost whisper quiet. I had the chance to drive i.e. park an Enzo a few months ago and I could just feel the car's eagerness to pounce. And eventhough the Veyron has numbers that out-perform the Enzo, I think from a sheer driving pleasure stand point the Enzo would win.

AUTOCAR did a road test on the Bugatti:
They got 0-60mph in 2.46 sec

They ran it against a Mclaren F1. The Mclaren go a 10sec head start (doing 130mph already) before the bugatti took off, and they both reach 200mph at the same time.

I think this is an absolutely amazing car. The ENZO doesn't even get close to that kind of acceleration.

I'll take the enzo. As i love the bugatti,it does't handle worth a crap. 253 mph is nothing if you can't turn, not like you would be turning at 253 anyway. I like the enzo over it.

Where did you see or read about the production Veyron's handling characteristics? I know it weighs a lot more than the Enzo. It weighs about as much as an M5, which doesn't handle that bad. I don't say that it will beat the Enzo in handling, because it wouldn't, but it might not be that crap.

I like the Enzo better because it is naturally aspirated and not just a big engine with turbos thrown on it. Seems like Bughatti just wanted to make a car with high hp and they couldnt do it with all engine, so they had to use 4 turbo chargers.

Owning an Enzo and having sat in a Veryon I'll say this. The Bug looks better in the metal than in photo's. Interior is nice with plenty of head/room. IMO wheelbase is too short for hp. It's not really a sports car. More of a super cruiser. I wouldn't advise trying to toss it around.

The Enzo is a great driver and it's sister MCC seems to work, if FIA GT 1 is a guide, on the track. I very much doubt we'll be seeing a Veryon do too well there.

So you got the Enzo instead of the MC12? I remember Andrew mentioning you were interested in the Maser until they announced it would not be legal in North America. How does it compare the 1960s mid-engined racers?
