Can we get it egg-nogged please?
Write your UCP username on a piece of paper, stab it over the gearstick and take a pic
This is just a simple proof of ownership test because there's always kids coming on here claiming to have skylines (mostly) etc etc. I'm sure you understand. I wouldn't mind some pics of the other two cars either

ooh yeah, btw, that's a nice looking car. You've got taste lol. I'd have probably got it in a different colour tho.

I do understand and would be happy to oblige. However, I am in the Navy and currently stationed on Diego Garcia in the British Indian Ocean territories. So that puts me 13,000 miles away from the car right now.

I suppose I could give you a link to the Northwest Sports Car Club website and you can compare the pic (with the time in it) to my name. Even though I don't like the idea of using my real name on the internet.

Besides... Why would a 47 year old, about to retire from the Navy need to lie about owning a stock 350Z?

hmm, how long till you get back to the car?
If you want to give us the website address, it's upto you. But don't be surprised if a couple of more impatient members (I won't say who) call BS on you lol. They're like little kids on here

Okay, here's a link to the Western Washington Sports Car Club and my results from the race shown in that picture... Why would I post up a link to an 8th place finish if it were a lie! LOL

Look for Kenneth Hargis, 8th place in Street Tire stock class.

Oh well, it was my first race in the Zcar. Once I get back and have a chance to get more seat time, things will improve.

<edit> I will be back home in early October. So if the link isn't good enough I can always get you an Egg Nog then.

It's 90% driver, 10% car The miata is also a different class.

Nice looking car, we have a few in the club I autocross with.

Seems like you have never autocrossed or raced.

You can't base a person's driving ability on three runs. He might have never done it before, might have never driven the course before, and on on. That person in the miata might have ran that track many times before and have a better set up in the car. There are a lot of variables that you don't seem to be considering. So shut up.

I had a crappy weekend and it was my first event in the Zcar. Prior to that all the Autocrossing I did was in my Camaro SS. So there was a huge change to adapt to.

If I had raced in B stock I would have done a lot better. I was running the original tires and you can run R compound in the Street Tire class. So I actually did pretty well considering most of the people were running on Victoracers and Hoosiers.

Right now nobody makes the right sized tires for the Track model. The damn stagger makes it hard to find DOT tires for street tire class. Next season, I will probably race in B stock only.

Give me more seat time in the Z and I'll be placing much better.

By stock I assume you mean the cars in that class have no modifications? How can they be sure you haven't done something you can't see from just lifting up the bonnet?

It'd be pretty sad if you cheated in simple club racing. Most guys are pretty honest about it because it's all in the name of fun.
