Opel Tigra TwinTop vs. Peugeot 206 cc

Hello to all!

I would like to buy one of these two cars but I'm not shure wich one will be the best choice.
Can you help me make a decision?

Thanks!

where are you based ?

PLEASE put it in your profiel and then folks can best advise.
eg. the 206CC is common up here in sunny Scotland.

Not seen a TIgra TT yet, but the 206CC is definately a hair-dressers car so unless that's your employment, go the Tigra.

Personally I've become bored with the boat-deck treatment of the 206CC and now find it hideously ugly.

Tigra, it looks 1000x better, it doesn't make you look gay, more luggage space, it's newer.....

I'd go for the Tigra purely on the basis that the 206CC has been around for a fair old time now, and it's starting to look its age. Not sure about the price and stats etc of the two, but looks wise I'd go for the Tigra.

If he was gay he'd already own an SLK, which is better than both.

What a funny turn this dialog has taken.
I know these cars are small but they will be easier to drive in a city.
Sincerely I would like to choose betwen Peugeot 307cc and Opel Astra TwinTop but my current budget says that I can't.
I should have said that I was expecting technical details, like if you know some problems that these two cars may have, in order to avoid a bad choice.
Maybe someone who drove them may help me...

i think that you should get the opel tigra twin top.
rijoh and h00t_h00t, here in malaysia, there are many young men who drive 350Zs, new and old SLKs and 206CCs.

The Opel is not available in my country, nor have I driven 206CC which is sold here in r/h/d form. But unfortuately like many other Peugeot products the 206CC has received a substantial amount of negative publicity here from disappointed owners, specifically regarding poor quality, defects & breakdowns. The general impression of 206CC is of an appealing vehicle which earns more consumer criticism than its small sales would otherwise indicate

Two days ago i've seen a Tigra TwinTop "in person" i didn'nt had the chance to drove her (can i call it her?) but i think it looks better than 206cc.
And if i'm right the price for the opel is a bit smaller than for the peugeot.
