picture help

anybody have this in a higher res? I've had it as my Uni wallpaper for ages but it's not saved and it's small

appreciate any help. Thanx

If you had read the post with the pic you would know it's at university , not at home lol. Let me clarify. A university site computer, not a personal computer at university

Hide all the icons on your desktop and then take a screenshot using the Print Scrn key on your keyboard. Import the screenshot into MSPaint or another imaging program and crop out the taskbar at the bottom.

I did think if doing that, but the way it print screens on those comps is weird. If you look at the attached pic, it's quite large, whereas the resolution is atually quite small on the actual pic. The picture looks good on the desktop, but the printscreen messes about with the clarity and colour. I can't explain it

It appears the image on the desktop is being stretched. You can right click on the desktop, select Properties, and on the lower right corner of the window that pops up select "Center" from the little drop down menu. That should reduce the image to it's normal size allowing you to take an accurate screenshot of it. Be sure when you save the image that you don't save it as a .BMP as that will mess up the quality of the photo. If that doesn't work I'd say you are S.O.L. buddy.
