    Moskvich 2137/2138/2140

    In December 1975 AZLK factory in Moscow started production on new models, Moskvich 2140 (1478 cc, 75 hp) and 2138 (1358 cc, 50 hp) that took place of older 408 and 412 models. Export index 1500&1300. Moskvich 2140&2138 were four door sedans and 2137 was five door station wagon. With minor changes they were produced until early nineties.

    My Grandfather Had The Same One-produced In 1976
    Great Car,have To Be Said
    Still Now It Can Go 110 Kmh Quite Well

    In 1980 my dad took me to Russia for about two months for the Olympics, there was this car called "Zaparoj" I don't think I'm spelling the car name correctly,but if you know what the hill I'm talking about,can you please get a picture for me...

    Yes that is it!! thanks bro I love to have one of this cars,just to say I have one....first time I saw that car I was like 11 years old it is a cool looking car...hey!! can you UPS one for me....ill pay for the postage.LOL

    You gotta realise that in Eastern Europe, where one could NOT own a western car (much less afford it), these were considered "luxury".

    Piacki_117, Yes, 37hp per litre. But it's 408 engine (ohv,...). But UZAM 412 engine, it's a really cool (the parent of this engine is BMW M10)!!! 75hp for original 1478cc is not a limit.     All Moskviches (AZLK, IZH) is a good cars for rally. For example, London-Mexico -> 2 place in absolute.

    1024x768? Попробуй посмотреть на http://www.moskvich.de or http://www.moszkvicsklub.hu/home.htm. Особенно на последнем, там есть раздел wallpapers. Но абсолютной гарантии не даю.

    Ну это понятно, гарантию только ГОССТРАХ давал.
