    Opel Olympia Rekord 1956

    The basic model of this type was presented in 1953, and subsequently four face lifted version appeared before the Rekord P1 saw the in 1957.

    The 1956 version had a slightly more powerful 1500 cc (45 in stead of 40 bhp) but with a top speed of 122 kph it was still not a real Autobahn cruiser. Almost 140,000 cars of model year 1956 were produced.

    Agree, with every word of your statement.

    I'm russian, the cars there were not sold to public until I think late 50's at all!

    And there is no family in russia PERIOD, that haven't lost someone in the war.
