The Corolla E110 was the eighth generation of cars sold by Toyota under the Corolla nameplate.

Introduced in May 1995, the eighth generation shared its platform (and doors, on some models) with its predecessor. Due to a recession, Toyota ordered Corolla development chief Takayasu Honda to cut costs, hence the carry-over engineering.

For the general market, the Corolla was offered in Base, XLi, GLi, and SE-G trim levels

No no no, you're reading it all wrong. They're standing outside of the art gallery where the young woman just bought a painting, that the guy is putting away. The car is hers and he's thinking, "she just spent more on that painting than the price of this car. These corollas must be great cars..."

You right. I did get that wrong. I doubt the guy thinks "these Corollas must be great cars..." I don't see the relation there between the cost of the painting and the cost of the car to him saying it's a great car.

Does he at least get something in return for helping her out? A lil something something? No? The space in the back of the car is occupied now so no return favors for him. Too bad hahahah

And again. The Toyota Corolla is a great car. Especially the old RWD ones. Durability, RWD, Economy. They need to bring that back.

The relationship between the cost of the painting and the Corolla being great is that he's thinking, "She could have afforded anything, yet she bought this unassuming car. She's definitely old money."

And no she doesn't mess around with the help...she looks too classy.

I can't see the RWD Corolla coming back but would love to see what Toyota has to offer to counter the latest Civic.
