Smxi, you generally post models chronologically. I haven't seen the models in #s 1,2, and 3 in the US? Post #4 onwards is familiar to me as the Ford Escape. Do you know if they did away with the original Maverick and replaced with the Escape?
*Also the Maverick Coupe is still a Ford so no copyright infringements.

Maverick shares the platform with Escape now, you are correct. Older model however simply was not sold in States, back then small SUVs were not in demand here. Also the previous model is actually Nissan Terrano.

Thanks for clarifying that. I also didn't know that Ford had sold badge engineered Nissans.
