the 5.4 BOSS is cast iron, so most likely, its heavier than the LS7

With 550bhp? I don't think so.

Less valves generally equates to more torque... it's odd. If you have a look at the old 8v Golf GTi Mk II engine, then compare it to the 16v, the 16v has more power, but the 8v had more torque.

3 valves is better than 2, at any rate.

no way that 3 valve design is kickin butt. lots of guys in the mustang community are tryin to get those 3 valve heads to swap onto their 2v cars (like mine) they are getting cobra like performance numbers with em (cobras have 4v) without the extra weight of having to have DOHC. the 3 valve is a real hot set up right now.

forget about a saleen mustang s281 the Bugatti veyron is 0 to 60 in 23 seconds and top speed of 253 mph hows that?
