Vanwall Grand Prix Racer #1:
Just for clarity, this is the "GPR V12" which is a modern recreation of the original Vanwall GP car.
See www.vanwallcars.com
The Vanwall GPR - V12 is now available built to customer order and specification. The lightweight aluminium (or carbon fibre composite) bodied single seat racing car is craftsman built in the traditional manner.
The unique design combines many influences from cars of the 1950’s Formula One era but draws mainly upon the Vanwall heritage.
The sight, sound, feel and excitement of driving a unique racing car on both road and track, nothing quite compares to the sheer joy and delight of the driver in command of the Vanwall racing machine — an experience of which very few have had the pleasure.
Powered by a 5.3/6.0 litre V12 engine and weighing in at less than a ton, the car has breathtaking performance to bring the thrill and enjoyment of the golden era of racing, the last of the powerful front-engined Grand Prix cars.
The car registered and in road trim allows the owner to drive to events such as track days, hill climbs and other motor sport activities where the car’s performance can be experienced both legally and to the full. Vanwall cars are hand-built and tailor-made for each individual customer.
The two main variants are the V12 for both road and track featuring aluminium bodywork and the composite bodywork V8 for racing only.
