I was just browsing autotrader.co.uk and out of sheer dum ness i accidntly clicked on the audi S6 page and i was astonished at how much these cars had depriciated in such a short time and how few miles they had on them. thay were in car tearms absoloute bargins. i was wondering if anything else trhat was good in its day had depricated to such an exstent

On average a car loses 50% of its value in the first 3 years...So you can judge from there...But some cars lose their calues quicker than others...

Just a little side note but probably isn't very good if you are thinking of getting a used car, Vanquish's have depreciated amazingly. £75k for a car that was worth £175k only a few years ago. That said, Jaguar can be used as an example here with the XJ220. Cost around £450k in 1993, now go for around £70k. Wll it just the fact that a 50k car come down to 20k in 3 yeaers and has only 400000miles on the clock thats not bad if you buy it second hand
