My comments on the VE were my own opinion. The cars definatley a VE in the pictures, and theres a chance that it will change. But for now, thats what it looks like. So i took my conclusion of it being boring from what I saw. I will stress that i NEVER called it ugly. In fact I said that it was a very good looking car...just not a very exciting design. Audi's look good. Theres nothing exciting about the design though. It just looks right. Same with the VE. Theres nothing wrong with what i said.

And can i ask why you are bringing up the VE in relation to the comments i made on orion earlier? Ive seen the VE, like the overall look, but dont find it exciting. I have the right to say my opinion and looking at the poll i have many people that share my opinion.

And for the thousandth time, I DIDNT SAY THE CAR WAS AWSOME!!!

I SAID: Falcon + Iosis = Awsome.

It means that a falcon with iosis influences would look awsome. I didnt call the actual car awsome because i havent seen it. y point was that an Iosis influenced family car would be pretty awsome (assuming they didnt chuck an AU all over again) and judging by Ford Oz's recent design jobs(excluding that refreshed escape... *vomits*), I am expecting a pretty good looking falcon in 2008.

If i had said plainly "the orion falcon is awsome" then i would have looked like a dickhead. But i didnt say that. Im pretty confident that there will be iosis influence (we've been hearing about an iosis/ falcon since the iosis was first shown). Its still not enough, but its something. Thats why i showed an addition to identify what was awsome. A falcon PLUS iosis influences is awsome. Simple maths tells me that iosis plus falcon = iosis fused with a falcon.

Falcon + iosis does not equal FALCON.

(Feel free to flame me for continuing this....but i couldnt leave it without further explanation)

I dont know where the Ford VS Holden thing came from...?? Im do prefer the current falcon (the VZ competing against the BF is a joke) but im not a fanboy. If the next falcon is crap i will say its crap. If the next commodore is crap and/or boring i will say it (even if was a beta prototype).

anyhow...it should never have been an issue.

Hey hey funny thing tonight at Telstra dome they have on level 1 the Aurion. So i went up and had a look at it, Is that meant to be a large car cause it's medium at best, And Clutch you were spot on it shocking to see cardboard disc's, I snapped some pics with my phone we got within 1 foot of it, The guy told us there was nothing in it just rolling body no insides, And there was a very nice blonde there to, The car was alright but it's not going to match Falcon And Commodore in size never.

Im starting to get a better idea of what exactly from the Iosis could carry over to the Falcon now that the VE seems clear.

* Prominent wheel arches, perhaps to make the car appear slim
* Small rear overhang and boot, better weight distribution but also makes the car appear shorter
* Crease along the body, in this case high up, perhaps to limit the negative effect of such a high waistline
* Upper intake, looks very similar to Territory and shows adaptation to 3 bar grille
* Lower grille, very similar to BF Typhoon

The boots are getting smaller with every new car now but still large inside.

We need a chopper to get whats in your brain onto pic where is that dude that done the VE he can make a new Falcon. Wish i could chop

That roof's on somethin probably a fair bit lower than what the Falcon will be, so the front and reat window rake will be alot more than they need to be

Have you seen some of these pics?. A little Aston there at teh rear.
But some of that intiria screams falcon.

Its all really too hard to tell from that, the current AM's have a very similar layout to the BA's though with the ICC.

The rear end actually looks like the new Jag XK

As i circled out though, its the smaler, subtler things to look for if you want to get influences otherwise its all out of proportion

I HATE the rear door on the Iosis - it looks great open, but closed the shutline is all wrong.

Fortunately I HIGHLY doubt the Falcon will have those sorts of doors.

I was over in a Ford Australia forum, A guy claims to have seen a Early viewing of the Orion, He claims a very Europeans look but i guess that is pretty clear with what we already know, Wonder what the truths are and he was ask to steal some pictures to.
When there i also dropped a link to here because some of the info they had on the orion was way off, And KOS had more then they had in 1 post then there 200
So maybe that is why we have some new Friends of late

Lucky number 2 they thought i was some GMH racer or something some guy they all had trouble with, So i had to prove my innocence within 5 post, But some other guys in there said straight away i wasn't this guy i made sense Some don't like me but I'm doing alright having a laugh and good talking to, But it's good to be accepted even when you drive the other car. But there might be some that aren't as accepting.
I just use my normal name as here in other forums it's easy to remember.
