Did he grenade the car's turbo or something?

The car was way too stupid anyway- windows were out, mismatched wheels, stupid chrome hubcaps etc.

That wasn't even an SRT-4, no turbo. If the title was correct that was the clutch launching into orbit.

I don't think it was the clutch, maybe something gave in the engine, i never saw a clutch lift a hood like that before.

i've seen a flywheel do that i think, but iirc it was because the guy lightened it in his shed by drilling holes in it..
