Thats Right ladies and gentlemen, this weekend we will be driving the first race of our GTR CUP series!

hereby im posting a video of my lap, and my setup, so you can copy or study my lines!

discussion in this thread about the comming race, and setup tips from the experts can be posted here! Adam will post the times and qualify procedure in the second post.

my lap: left click save as

ps, dont take the parabolica like that, i wanted to go to fast and went a "bit" wide

my setup: right click save as (put in userdata/YOUR NAME/settings/Monza

some small tips
- consistency is better then speed
- a race cant be won in the first corner no matter how good you are
- driving closely behind someone, will get you slipstream, but will lose you downforce
- Best way to drive a porsche is Slow in - Fast out

Since the GTR formation lap online is strange... here is what we will do. When the dud shouts GO GO GO, dont go . Slow down, and we will do a formation lap. Last corner - GO GO GO! Rules - No zig-zagging/brake tests. Also, keep a steasy speed... 120km/h / 70mph is acceptable. Also, BRAKES WILL BE COLD AT START so all please be careful at the first chicane,

According to GMT GMT check what your time difference is!

Practice 1 - 2PM until 3:30PM
Practice 2 - 3:30PM-5PM
Qualiying - 5PM-6PM
Race - 6PM-6.30PM

I don't think we should be using the Superpole(one lap) qualy method in this series..which is basically amateur level.

While it is fun for the more experienced it's unfair to the lesser experenced IMO.
