Yeah, I know, thats what I meant, it is almost like they stole design elements off of this car, but that is not a bad thing because I am sure there are only so many aerodynamic and attractive things one can do....

Zagato Raptor is based on Lamborghini Diablo VT. It was one-off concept.

It was planned for limited production under Lamborghini brand, but they didn't agreed.

    This^

It was one of two concepts Zagato did for Lamborghini, hoping that they'd cement a link similar to what Ferrari has with Pininfarina. Apart from the Raptor concept (which was basically the same thing as the Reventon is today), the Zagato Kanto concept was set to go into production as the car that would replace the Diablo. Unfortunately, Audi brought them out, waled in one day and said "NEIN!". So, the Kanto exterior was sent to the scrap heap, and Silvia was charged with replacing the Diablo (which is why the Diablo lasted a few years longer than it would have). Unfortunately for Audi, design was so far along that they couldn't actually change too much of the design because some elements were functional (read: structural). That's why the Kanto shares the roof, wheelbase, windscreen, A- and B-pillars, overall length and height with the Murcielago.

Personally, I thought the Kanto was pretty bad-ass, but hey, the Murcielago isn't exactly an eyesore...

The Kanto is now visible at the Zagato atelier, and every now and then at the Lamorghini factory.
