£341 and £425 for the 20Gb and 60Gb respectively. That is an eye watering amount of money to pay, I remember when we bought our PS2, plus 8 games, an Eye Toy, an extra controller and memory cards, and it was well below £400!! God, wont be able to afford any games at that rate!!

motion sensitve controller is NOT a new idea and NOT invented by Nintendo.
MICROSOFT produced a gamepad with motion sensors years and YEARS ago.
I still use it on bike racing sims as it's more natural to "move" the rider for me

wow that sucked, it was GT4 with better textures. Whoopdeedoo. And for $999AU there is NO WAY i am going to buy it. Thats just too much money for a console. By the time you factor in another aftermarket controller (the standard one doesnt support rumble or force feedback) and a couple of games you're looking at about 1.3k

thats a bit ridiculous i think.

Well 360 beats all theyre new live system will allow you to play practically all Xbox games on the PC plus allow to have access to all the xobox features. :P

And just like that ladies and gents, sony have shot themselves in the foot. Tonight when I come home I will post a full impression of this price update and the Sony confrence which was very dissapointing.


One thing I would like to do is point out the dark horse. Oh boy Nintendo, the constant innovater, the evolver of gaming, is it your time to shine again? One can only think, that at $199US, the Wii is now ALOT more popular than before the e3 expo. There is a strong chance now that Nintendo will take this oppurtunity by the horns and really upset the market - its your time to shine.

Oh and one thing about the controller - its still shit. Why? they did a hall assed copy of Nintendo's wii controller. They're taking the tilt-sensitivity, but skipping out on the motion-sensitivity, pointer-sensitivity, and expansion ability. So, you're basicly just getting an extra analog stick... missing out almost entirly the extra functionality that the Wii controller will have.

Yep i definatly agree but theres just one thing holding me back from choosing to buy one and thats the selection of games i know you get the games which come out on the other consoles but there arnt that many good racing sims on it. the games are cartooney which begs me to think its still being pushed towards the younger age category.

I have to say it must be fun to play a fun game once in a while but come on is it worth but ing a console and a bunch of games just for those urges??

And to be honest these types games will be on other consoles ( just like to include id still miss Mario, Donkey kong and other Nintendo classics).

Another part that i really enjoyed was the controller, but again im still not totally convinced by the selection of games. though it could be a later purchase

Go Xbox 360 Watch their expo on the 360 at gamespot youll all be convinced.

They're not really competing now are they. Technology vise its a 10 year difference between them.
