Matra...help me please :(

Matra,

I know you are into bikes too, like the TT.

I'm looking for DVDs on bike racing with a sidecar, preferably something like MotoGPs with a whole bunch of them racing at the same time.

Thanks in advance for any info provided.

Unfortunately the owners of the sidecar races screwed up a while back and it ended up in a back-water of motorsport.
It's got a little better these past couple of years but I think you'll struggle to find much.
The world FIM championship is now called SUPERSIDE racing just to confuse newbies The site http://superside.com/site/index.php?id=en has info and pics.

The IoM TT video/dvd always has coverage of the 2 Sidecar races, but these are pursuit and NOT bunched start. It's available from Duke Video.

They also have some sidecar vids - http://www.dukevideo.com/products/1142.htm - but I think that's an old documentary. The bikes are less powerful now !!!

You're best chance wwould be to contact a club local to you. You may find a link off the Superside web page that helps.

Sorry I don't know any other sources.
