The IRS seized an F40 owned by a Texan millionaire in some financial troubles recently and sold it at a public auction. I think it went for only US$400k.

This car pictured here is actually an F40 that was wrecked and totally rebuilt to F40 LM specs By Roland Linder. So its an F40 LM reproduction not a real LM .
The highest price paid for an F40 was somewhere around 1.000 000 $ back in the crazy days in 1991/1992 ...
