98 grand prix gtp proublems

well im having a proublem with my car redlineing at 95 i just had the motor changed and the computer progamed some guy said something about a fuel rev sencer whatever that is i dont know. by the way the motor before shut off a 138 the car already what a aftermarcket computer please let me know asap

Is the engine even capable of doing anything higher than 138? Lol.

Maybe lowering the suspension will get you a slightly better top speed with less drag, but I know nothing about the mechanical side of the problem.

First of all on the drag strip the car isn't even going to make it past 110, if it even passes 100 first. Get a car that was actually built to do something other than to save pontiacs ass from going bankrupt.

And for it cutting off at 138, are you sure you didn't pop a piston?
