Chop Taz's car

I want to have my Pointer GTI painted maybe at the end of the year and I want to get ideas from you guys. I'm not sure what color to go with, there is a restoration/custom car shop near me and they tell me they can mix any color I want and make the car look brand new. I also want to get a new set of wheels and tyres then.

I'm not looking to add a body kit or anything rice like. Please feel free to chop my car and suggest some cool colors and wheels.

Next year I want to add a turbo kit and Brembo brakes, I don't want the GTI to just look the part.

PS. Sorry the pics aren't high res, I took them with my Treo.

I'm open to suggestions, what wheels would you have in mind?

I think a pearl white or metallic black would look nice on your car.

Unless you're going to do the door jambs and engine bay, I'd just repaint it the stock color. Audi and Porsche colors look good on VW's pretty much across the board. Especially Audi's dolphin grey.

I say slam it and get some 15x8 and 15x9 BBS RM's and call it a day.

I'm not too crazy about the stock color, I am gonna go as far as painting the door jabs and engine bay.

I spent about 30 minutes giving it a try... But the quality of the pic is too low for my noobish skills

I only managed to lower the car... Every rim and color that I added looked way too fake.

I have no Pshop skills, but I do have more wheel and color suggestions.

-Nogaro Blue
-Imola Yellow
-Black Magic Pearl
-Dragon Green (OEM VW Corrado color, pearlescent- looks amazing in sunlight.)
-Porcelain Blue (OEM Mk3 color)
-Nimbus Grey (OEM Audi TT color)

On that list, I'm really partial to the Dragon Green. I love how it pops under the light.

As for wheels, it depends on if you have 4 or 5 lug, and what color/style you are going for. If you want a classy Euro theme, then the BBS or Compomotive are the way to go. If you want something a little more motorsport/tuner, then that opens up to OZ, Ronal, Rota, etc. And don't forget OEM wheels. Between VW, Audi, Porsche and Mercedes, you can find some really awesome wheels that will fit whatever style you want.

Nogaro Blue is one of my all-time favourite colours.

Just the other day, I saw an S4 Cabrio (before they gave it stupid headlights) in that colour. Oh man.

Also... if you can find pics (Quiggs, you might have some...) there's an awesome baby blue on a Dubsport Twin VR6 Mk. III Golf.
