Say what you will about them, but a TVR wouldn't do that. It might not start from time to time but at least it won't burst in to flames. Serves them right for buying a new Ferrari.

Erm, yes, a TVR would certainly do that; i.e. burn.

Since we don't know why this car caught fire, the same cause could easily apply to a TVR; e.g., driver dropped a lit cigarette, passenger playing with matches, some kid threw a molotov cocktail at the car, some git was wandering about with a huge magnifying glass, etc., etc.

1600M:-

Well no shit. It is a 1600M. The worst car ever produced in blackpool. Shall I revise my statement and say that most TVRs wont do that. They will have mechanical problem, but tend not to burst into flame.

True, any fan of TVR knows that. It is half the fun-who wants a car that can't kill you in at least 20 different and strange ways.

Don't have to worry about getting killed in a TVR, the door handle will break and you cant get in.
