Honda Ridgeline Street Sport Concept

The Street Sport Concept Ridgeline project from American Honda explores the sport truck possibilities of the new 2006 Ridgeline pickup. The front and rear bumpers have been restyled, incorporating concept LED fog lights in the front and an integrated tow hitch in the rear. An aerodynamic fixed tonneau cover features remote power operation for the lid and the tailgate. The exterior color is a custom Honda color called Asphalt Shock Metallic. Track is widened in front and rear, and 22-in. 2-piece wheels with 305/40R-22 tires fill out the fenders. The Street Sport Concept Ridgeline is lowered 1 in. with prototype Honda advanced performance springs and struts, and braking is augmented by six-piston Brembo front brakes and four-piston rear brakes. The interior is modified with custom suede and leather trim, Recaro seats in front and rear, and LED lighting accents.

• 305/40WR-22 BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2 tires

Exterior Modifications

• Restyled front bumper with concept LED fog lights
• Restyled rear bumper with integrated and concealed tow hitch
• Wide side rocker panels with integrated aluminum side pipe exhaust
• Widened and restyled fenders
• Aerodynamic fixed tonneau coer with remote powered lid and tailgate operation
• Integrated cabin sport valance and C-pillar trim
• Custom Honda-developed Asphalt Shock Metallic paint

Interior Modifications

• Recaro sport seats in front and rear
• Custom 7-in. video monitors installed on back of front seats

• Custom instrument panel trimmed in black leather and suede with satin aluminum trim
• Custom door panels trimmed with suede and leather with LED accent lights and aluminum mesh speaker covers
• Full cabin-length floor console with cup holders, rear climate control vents, front and rear power outlets, front and rear seat heater switches, rear DVD players and Sony Playstation game system, cabin lighting controls and power rear tailgate and tonneau cover control, LED accent lights
• Custom suede ceiling trim with ?Galaxy View? insert finished in high gloss onyx black with LED spot lights
• Custom sheered velour ?mohair? carpet and leather floormats with aluminum badges
• 3-spoke sport steering wheel design
• Aluminum pedals
• 9-speaker enhanced dynamic sound system
• Rear view camera integrated into Honda Navigation system
• Remote opening for all four doors and rear tailgate/tonneau cover

I think it would serve its purpose as an inner city hauler very well. I like that its not rugged. Good design IMO.

I love the interior. This Honda actually looks like a "gangster car".

Looks ten times better than the base version. Like the Element you have to put looks aside and when you do you'll find very handy and practical vehicles under the not so attractive skin.
