50 BMW M6's sold in 97 seconds!

The exclusive warehouse of Neiman Marcus (www.neimanmarcus.com) publishes a special 'Christmas catalogus' every year, with a special product in it. This year a special edition of the BMW M6 Convertible was the lucky one. Only 50 were made, all for Neiman Marcus. The sales started on wednesday trough a special phone number, for $139.000 a piece. All 50 of them were sold in 97 seconds! The 500hp V10 car was for this occasion only available in black.

Just read about it in my local paper today along with a new Spyker dealer in Dallas.

There are 62 people on the waiting list for this car apparently.

They also sold a few copies of the Dodge Tomahawk a few years ago. The engine started and ran, but it was not hooked to the drivetrain. It was sold as an art piece.

Well, first, my mistake, there are 61....

Anyways, the other 11 people are probably folks who are waiting for one of the original 50 to make a transaction go through thus that person will lose the car.
