Ferrari Panamerican 20000 (599 Sighting!)
I could not believe my eyes today as I walked past Yonge-Dundas square in downtown Toronto. (For the un-Tornotonian, Y-D Square is like Times Square, but smaller and Canadian). First, I see a Alfa Romeo of unknown type with lots of sponsorship badges on it drive by. Then, to my amazement, two Ferrari 599 GTB Fioranos drive by! I was gobsmacked! The two cars, blue and red, looked much better in person than they do in pictures, but still were far from perfect. Luckilly, the front car's driver decided to rev his hefty 6L V-12 as he turned southbound, and the sound was an amazing low grumble. I was psyched!
This comes after Y-D square has showcased cars for a lottery including a Cayman S, a Ford GT, and a Ferrari F430. Also earlier on this year, a sculpted ice 599 GTB made an appearance in downtown TO, but I only saw it after it melted a bit. Sorry guys, but I did not have a camera for any of these occasions! But man was that cool to see today! Check this for a pic of the two cars:
