My parents had one like in your first post, in that gold/yellow-ish colour. Actually, it was an ´Special Edition´. It was lowered a bit, had 15 inch 5-spoke rims as well as... ehrm... skirts and a small spoiler at the rear. This may sound like it was ´riced´ but it was not over the top, as it was an factory edition. Actually this improved the look of the car a lot IMO versus the standard one. They had a lot of problems with the car though, returning to the dealership for a vast list of problems...

Not the greatest of cars and definitely not good-looking, but really popular in Poland due to low price. I used to work at a Kia dealership and spent lots of time driving it.
It's not denial. I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.
