Maybe its because im not in school to hear girls go on about him, but he is a talented entertainer and I think his music is refreshing compared to the whole lot of other stuff out there following the same genres all the time. (IE justin timberlake - yes some of his stuff is good too - just not f*cking "love stoned".

At any rate, Mika is a new artist, and doing well, (even if he is abit camp, he is a better role model than any of the other stupid skiny girls in the media.)

A friend tipped me about his album last week, and I've been hooked on it ever since. It's one of those rare cases when I like the whole album, not just one or two songs. It's fresh, bright, energetic, fun, campy - just the way I like it. He sounds like a mix of Freddie, Prince and Elton John. Which is a great compliment. All in all one of my most important musical discoveries of this year.

I appreciate that he's talented, I just find him intensely annoying. Grace Kelly was overplayed here too, which is without a doubt the most irritating song ever once it gets stuck in your head.

Maybe in Australia. In Poland I remeber hearing "Relax" twice in the radio, and that's pretty much all. So it's definitely new and fresh to me.
