This is way OFF TOPIC but interesting!

I know this is way off topic but thought it's interesting!

The "birth" of an airplane (Airbus)

Sorry if this is unacceptable to this forum

I liked it.
I was lucky to visit the Boeing factory and see 747 manufacture.
To me it just seems all wrong the way the Airbus fly wings and fuselage in from all over Europe to bolt together

Have a rep point ( but you'll need to wait as I need to spread a little before I can give you it )

All large planes are made the same way and 'bolted' together.
It's just that Airbus build the bits in 3 different countries and fly them around in those guppies

And the funny (also scary) part is, we build model airplane kits almost the same way (just without the testing part)

I gave you a point too. Love that shit. Matra, is there anything you havent done. I was right about your birthday, you must be at least 70.
I was glad to see them use such big bolts.

Have you got two big sisters ?
No, oh well THAT is the one thing then

Seriously though, I've been lucky with friends and family that have varied interests and locations. Also I've worked for a multi-national for 20+ years and have spend about a third of that out on the road all over the world. Whenever I visit a location I always try to find something to do to keep my weekends busy but NOT work So I go see things, talk to people, drink and party when possible

And the one continent and 2 places I've not been ? OZ and NZ So if there's a knock at the door it'll be ....." he-ere's Peter " ... in my best Nicolson manner
