UCP Forum Anniversary !!

Ladies and Gentlemen, today, the 24th of April marks UCP's forum first anniversary !! At least that is what I understand based on the joining dates of the first users which is 24-4-2003.

I would like to take this wonderful chance and thank the people who make UCP a reality we all enjoy. I would also like to thank all the members, whom also without these forums would not exist and be at this exceptional level of fun, knowledge and friendship.

I consider myself part of UCP and so is everyone else. So keep up the good work and congratulations on our first anniversary !!

I was thinking that the UCP must have been around a LOT longer, since we have over 3,000 members! imagine how huge it'll be next year around this time!

UCP itself is more than a year old, i think only Wouter and the admin board know how old it is exactly, but its only the forums that are one year old now, so you cant specifically say this time around next year there will be 6000 members. alot of the first members wouldve been posters on the comments section so maybe there will only be 5000 this time next year, but if UCP gets more exposure it could well balloon to 10,000

Yeah, UCP.com is about a year old. Started around April 24th 2003 or so, well that's the offical day people started joining. Wouter finally added forums to his site after months of yelling at his ass.

from my (Albeit limited) knowledge, the forums were created a year ago, before that i was a moderator of the Comment on Car system you'll see at the bottom of the Car Pages, there was a major site update in 2003 also, to the blue colour you see now, before it was green and cream, so i'll think you'll agree it's an improvement.....

The site has been around at least since 2002, when i joined, and it was pretty established then.

Happy Birthday to the site, we've come a long way, and many happy years await.

Yes, I was a moderator of the comments as well. This site is much older than the actually forums.
