Great Car! Very good looking! BTW, german car magazine "sport auto" states that its top speed will NOT be limited
And the price: €232000, which in my opinion is too much. For that money you can get for example an SL65 AMG (listed at €201840, 612 ps and 1000nm) or an Ferrari 575 M or...

Very very nice! You have any idea how much those babies are selling for? Or are they not for the public?

Look at my post above Here in Germany they should go for €232000, i.e. $194191.

Edit: Of course it's a limited edition of 100, so you better be quick

Supercar! It has naturaly aspirated engine. Dont compare it with cl65 amg or sl65 amg. It should be compared with clk gtr. But clk gtr copied Le Mans race car. This car copies DTM. It's real sport car.

The strange thing is that they don't drive CLK's anymore in the DTM. Last year they did, but now they drive the normal C-class

Normal?
Wtf is "normal" about the C class DTM?
It is an ultimate track day car, forget the 996 GT3 RS and 360 CS, this is the one to go for.

It would be an ultimate track day car, but I have to revise my opinion, after finding out that it has a 5 speed automatic gearbox, and still weighs nearly 1800kg.

1000kg, and a 6 speed sequential would have been ultimate track car, this is just an expensive alternative to the CLK55, with DTM body kit.

I think Mercedes have forgotten what "performance car" means.

Yep, I agree with your opinion. Sure, Mercedes has fantastic cars, but they are more for cruising or driving on the german "autobahn". For hilly terrain or sharp curves Mercedes is not the first choice, beacause they are too heavy and too big. Look at the SLR, a great car, but not really suited for sharp turns on narrow streets. And it weighs much more then an Enzo or a Carrera GT, so they definitely would be my choice (if I ever have the money... ). BTW, I doubt that Mercedes has a manual or semi-automatic gearbox which can deal with so much horsepower. They always come with automatic gearbox, which nevertheless works great.
So after all, Mercedes will never build an ultimate roadcar, because it always has to fit to their philosophy.

it's a good ideea .. but bad implemented .. it should have a V8 4.0 litre . around 400 BHP .. ZF gearbox .. and low weight . i mean . now is not that different from the other CLK AMG cars
