Got wheelbase?

A few people have asked me for the original and more pics of the tractor in my avatar. So rather than PM them exclusively the info, I present it to you all here.

As most of you know, I have an obsession for the bizarre, and a love for the low. And what could be more bizarre than a lowered big rig? It's completely nonfunctional; yet completely awesome. The first time I saw it, I was in complete awe.

http://www.gotwheelbase.com/ is the main site for the truck.
ECLC is another site for equally amazing creations from around the country.

And before anyone asks, yes he uses it for work. It pulls a full size 53' box. There's a few videos of it on YouTube, too.

YouTube - PULLING PROJECT 350 OUT OF TIGHT DOCK!
YouTube - PROJECT 350 GOING DOWN THE QUARTER MILE!
YouTube - ROLLING SLAMMED!

Absolutely sinister!

erm, forgive me for getting confused, but doesnt "non functional" make it hard to pull anything?

It's on air, so it retains the functionality when it's not sitting on the ground. Most of the time when people do stuff like this (me included), it decreases the ability to actually use the vehicle. Not so with this one.

'minitrucks' are a constant reminder of how stupid some people are.

I know His Lowness isn't here anymore, but I saw a very similar truck beached on the side of a local LA freeway.
It looked like this except it was a grayish silver, and it had dual, instead of quad, headlights.
Has the original truck been modified? or is this a new one?
I hope it's a new one because it looks so much better in black.

You couldn't miss 'em with the big 12-cyl Rhoades Ridley @ 230 tons GVM and measuring around thirteen and a half feet wide!

Built in Perth in 1958 and powered by two GM 6/71 diesels, mounted side-by-side (!) with twin radiators etc

Rhodes Ridley
