1. "Jones is convinced that the only danger is a devious punter with no regard for the laws of football who would intentionally try to hit the thing." Laws of football include obstuculling around stadium hazards?

2. "...and you sure don't punt the ball down the middle. You punt it off to the side." Because every NFL kicker has complete and total control over the flight patterns of a ball shapped like an almond.

3. "Yeah, why would a punter ever want to kick a ball ... up? That's not the Cowboy way, I tell ya." What???
I personally find it funny that they figure ppl would spend fat cash on tickets to go see a game in person..........just to end up watching it on a giant video screen suspended over the field. Most retarded idea........eva.

I'll laugh my ass off if the NFL forces them to do something about that big screen because of this.

On a further note, I've lost faith in the NFL when Pat's lost. Never watched a game since.
Being a fan of a team (49er's fan since the days of montana/rice)that's only won about 2 times since the 90's, I sympathize. But I still thought that superbowl was awesome.

That's what I get for stopping to make sure everyone's ok.

I'm a Minnesota Vikings fan and just don't know what to think of Favre...on one hand, he's better than what we've had the past couple of years...on the other hand, he's one of the most overrated players in NFL history and will probably disappoint when/if the Vikings get to the playoffs. I think we should have given Sage Rosenfels a chance.

Favre is gonna stick around long enough to become a hasbin IMO. He should have gone out while on top, like a real football legend. I foresee many an injury in his future. Obviously he just can't let the game go.

I think that the Cowboys scoreboard was built that way on purpose. Romo needs something to blame this season since TO is now in Buffalo.

Bad days for me. I'm a Raiders fan. Maybe someday they'll win more than two games/season! :P on paper they look pretty decent but on the field they still haven't been put together right.

Like what it used to be like living in seattle. So many people going to the probowl, and yet... Just be glad you guys still have the greatest superbowl win ever with the "holy roller."

I can't believe the Lions finally won. I was actually kind of hoping they'd beat the Tampa Bay record for losses. I mean, if you're going to be bad, you may as well be the worst ever.

watched the greenbay packers vs the minnesota vikings match today. And am currently watching a replay. Fairly entertaining match, only wish greenbay won.

Favre has now beaten every team in the NFL.
Time to retire, methinks.

Though last night shows he's still got one hell of an arm.

Aside from getting sacked 9,001 times, Rogers also impressed.

it would have been a fantastic game if any of the packers other than rodgers showed up ready to play. the offensive line was terrible, but allowed rodgers to show what a great qb he really is, throwing regularly on the run on his off foot. lost the game and still had the longest yardage of his career.

Sanchez finally played like a rookie. Hopefully gang green bounces back this week against the gaylord Dolphins.
