Prices & specification of the new 5 ser

BMW has unveiled the price list & specifications of its new 5 ser.
It will be available in 3 models at start:
The entry-level 520i SE at ý25,455
The 530i SE at ý30,955
The 530d SE at ý30,950

The three launch models will be followed in October by the 192bhp 525i SE and the range-topping 333bhp 545i SE, priced at ý26,995 and ý41,555 respectively. Estate touring models will follow, as will a 500bhp, V10 equipped M5 version.
All three launch models feature six-speed manual gearboxes as standard, but 530i and 530d buyers will be able to specify a six-speed auto transmission at a cost of ý1,350.

All models will feature air-conditioning, part electric seats and a revised iDrive system with colour display as standard.

While the standard specification is generous, the optional extras list for the new 5-series is vast. Some of the highlights include:
Adaptive steering - ý810
Active cruise control - ý1380
Active seat ventilation - ý775
Dynamic drive - ý1,550
Head up display - ý810
Heated steering wheel - ý125
TV and text function - ý1,380

no really people are really complaning and complaning and complaning like shit about bangle but little do they know he supervised the e36 e46 3 series and the e39 5 series and the current crop the e65 seven series but that was all supervision the only car he actually designed by himself is the z4 which looks good i have to say - so whats wrong with him and their design - its just one or two new cars which are ugly(not to me) then they will learn and look at that - the current e80 5 series is way better than the e65 seven and the x3 - 1 series and the 6 series - they are all good lookers

The Wagon models will be out 2005, along with the M5. The M5 will be sporting a 500+hp V10.
