More of Group 5 & Classic GT... not sure what happened, but one of the Corvettes done blowed up real good.

So what happened in the Enduro then that your 13th place start (well done btw, 13th of 46th!) was an omen?

The shift ball ring mount (it's a stock 901) broke on the last lap, at the first corner... it literally turned sideways in my hand.
Missed shift: from 5th gear @ 130 mph to 2nd instead of 4th. Yowch. Limped home with much rackety noize: multiple broken rocker arms. Got faster than in quali and picked off most of my class. Only gave back three places overall, but that put me 4th and off the podium.  EDIT: Got the word today... valves OK, 3 rockers arms broken, not sure of rod bearings yet... might get lucky on costs.
