In the heat of the summer car maintenance tips
Consistent with the mercury climbing, chances are you still living at home and prefer to chill out, than to go out in the heat. I wish my car could do. However, their strong bodies and fibers are constructed of steel, they feel the heat! To extend the life of your car, you avoid the summer heat to the painful need to take some steps. We give you some tips to take care of your car and keep it healthy.
TIPS Check your car’s fuel tank regularly. It is very important to regularly take your car for servicing during the summer. Watch the cool .Check your air-conditioning. Check the air pressure in your car’s tires. check your Windshield-wiper blades. Do not go too fast. Driving at high speeds significantly affects your car’s mileage. Park at a shady spot. |

Where exactly did you get these "tips"?
Yeah... that's gonna be at every stop for gas. Otherwise, explain "checking". ![]() Quote:
You should be doing this every time you refuel anyway. Seriously. ![]() Wipe 'em clean when you refuel and clean glass, they'll last longer. In extremely hot (or dry) climes, replacement once a year should do it. ![]() Quote:
![]() Well, whenever one can find such a place, of course.

If by mileage you mean how many miles it's done...Driving fast doesn't change it. You might get where you're going faster, but it's the same amount of miles
![]() Shady spots are tricky. Usually you can find a tree if you want, but trees house birds, and birds house crap that ruins paint. I think opening the window a crack and getting a windscreen cover is a better solution

But how the heck am I going to live like some sort of awful Bruce Springsteen pastiche in a rusty, primer'd '70 Camaro that's being rebuilt together piece-by-piece when I'm not street racing some guy in a Chevelle?

I agree with your points for safety measures in summer. Also it is good not to part the car in direct sunlight as much as possible to avoid fade.

Wash and WAX your car if you live some where sunny, use double layers of wax, something I should have done two weeks ago. Or do what my brother do, keep the spring/late winter mud on your car all summer to protect the paint.
