The FreeLander's last stand

Since the launch of the new Rav-4,the revised CR-V and the completely new X-Trail Land Rover has been squirming to boost up sales figures for its baby the FreeLander.
It has been confirmed that it will cease production in 2005 when the replacement will be ready to attack.

The face lifted car reminds us of the bigger Range Rover with its head lamps & front grille & bumpers.

do you all damn know how damn macho this looks - especially with the damn integrated cow bar - the interior should get a revision also and some bits should be from the new range rover MK3 - offroading capabilities - this should be good - it looks ready to offroad too

Hope it makes room for all the other pseudo 4x4s on the scrap heap. I wont miss it.

What the hell competition is there in this sector. Im sure it has low enough profile tyres to prevent it being used off road, no ground clearance, no low range, dodgy traction control instead of a diff lock and LSD, and for all its inability to perform like anyhting resembling a 4x4, the added bonus of not quite being able to handle on the road as well as Hyundia.
