Diecast Models Info Please

I already got a 1:18 scale Ferrari Enzo Hot Wheels model, and Iam just wondering, which modeling companies make the Pagani Zonda S. Mclaren F1, or the Koenigsegg CC8S/CCR. I need a company that makes highly detailed models of these cars, I cant seem to find any on the net.

Trust me when i say the Hot Wheels Enzo is pretty poor quality.

And as far as i know, there are no Models of the Pagani or Konegsigg. The Mclaren made a brief appearance as a Bburago a few years back, but you'd be hard pressed to find one now.

Maybe look at the www.biante.com.au site or www.autoartmodels.com for a bit more advice, but thats all i can help you with dude, sorry.

A company called MotorMax is currently licensed to produce the Zonda in 1:18, and it should be released in the coming months. A lot of their previous models are pretty substandard, though. One step below Maisto and Hot Wheels, from what I've seen.

UT/Minichamps, Bburago, and Maisto have offered the McLaren in 1:18. UT/Minichamps are generally regarded as the best of these cars, but not too many retailers will have these in stock brand new anymore. ebay may be your best bet for brand new ones.
If you must have the utmost in detail, there's a 1:12 scale McLaren F1.

Check the Auto Art website every so often-they add cars like crazy. They are pretty well priced from $40-$70 (which is econmical in the model market), but I only have two-the '99 Panoz AIV and an '84 Lotus Esprit. I recommend them, and they will probably add them to their list soon enough.

And another=I know as a fact you can buy all of the above in 1/43 scale slot cars with a lot of detail for a relatively good price. Usually you find rare cars like that in 1/43 scale.

Yeah, I'll probably bypass the Motor Max version unless they miraculously turn out a very good model.

Spark Models has a nice selection of Zondas in 1:43.

exoticar is a great place, although im pretty sure they aint got any McLarens. their warehouse is near my house and i go to a lot of their warehouse sales, great prices and fun cuz they let u in the actual warehouse and thats what supplied all their stores throughout the country.

Where do you live?? Because I almost stopped at the warehouse outside of Boston, but I ran out of time before having to catch a flight to Milwaukee.

I'm suprised that there are few McLaren models, seeing as it's such a well known car.

I think it is well built and good quality, it just lacks detail, I own 78 1:18th scale diecast models, 56 of which are Ferrari, I remember when they used to be built by Bburago, now they knew how to build a Diecast. I still purchase the Hot Wheels because they still are Ferrari and that is the only thing that I am concerned with, but if I were to purchase a different make automobile diecast I would buy either a Bburago, Autoart, Kyosho, or Minichamps. As for the Mclaren F1 model there is one made by Maisto, the website is www.maisto.com they are built in Thailand and have pretty good detail.

Bburago doesn't make Ferraris anymore ? I've got the 250GTO, 360, 456GT and 550 from them.

Me as well mate, the 250 GTO go for about 75 - 150 GBP and all the others for abou 50 GBP. I own 23 Ferraris made by Bburago.
