Just ordered new lower control arms, tie rod assemblies, and ball joints. Add that to the hardware I ordered at work, and I should have one fresh install next weekend.

Yeah...but will it look stupid enough? Can it go any lower or have any more lights?

What are you eventually hoping for this car? Can you use Photoshop? If so, let's see your interpretation of what you want it to look like when "finished".

you want 130 - 140 horse power? Shouldnt your car already be close to that?

thats 104kw, which is less than I thought you had.. I would have thought you would be aiming higher than that?

Stock is 115 at the crank. It's a very restricted 8v head. Even so, there isn't a lot of power to be made from it without some serious modification and/or boost. I don't really care about going fast.

Low n slow never got anybody killed.

Pics... All of these cars inspired and motivated the direction I've gone.

Pat Cosgrove's Abt Widebody VR6T, Cory Sterling's Abt BBM S/C 2.0L Jetta, Punkassjim's complete Mk4 1.8T swapped custom Harelquin GTI, Jay Lehrmann's 2.0 on dual side draft Webers, and probably the most badass Cabrio ever. The Cabby's main inspiration was its "**** you I do what I want" approach.

I was under my car today, since I had one of the guys at the shop do my timing belt for me. I was looking around the exhaust at the cat, since mine is dead. But I noticed a notch in the downpipe, right at the bottom bend where it goes into the catalytic converter. WTF, I thought. Turns out, my sway bar sits right below the indent. That's how low I am.

So you are so low parts of your car are messing with other parts.

Seriously, explain to me why this is a good thing.
